Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and YKB Finance, a service operated by its founder in Egypt ("we", "us"), for the use of the YKB Finance website and platform (the "Service"). If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you accept these Terms for that business and confirm you have authority to do so. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.

The short version

  • YKB Finance reads your store, courier and ad data and shows your real profit. It never changes your accounts or handles your money.
  • Our numbers are only as good as the data you give us, and they are not financial, tax or legal advice.
  • You pay by InstaPay or bank transfer. If a renewal is late, you get 7 days of grace, then the account becomes read-only until you pay.
  • Your data is yours. You can cancel at any time and export it.

1.The Service

YKB Finance is a profit analytics tool for e-commerce sellers. It imports or syncs data you provide (orders, shipments, courier payouts, product costs, ad spend and expenses) and turns it into reports such as profit per order and product, delivery and return analysis, cash flow and marketing return.

The Service is read-only: we request read-only access to the stores, couriers and ad accounts you connect, and we never create, edit or cancel anything in them. We do not process payments, collect cash on delivery, or hold funds for you or your customers.

2.Not financial, tax or legal advice

Reports, insights and recommendations in the Service are for information only. They are not financial, accounting, tax, investment or legal advice, and they do not replace your accountant or advisers.

Results depend on the completeness and accuracy of the data you import or connect and the costs and settings you enter (for example product costs, shipping fees or exchange rates). If that data is incomplete, late or wrong, the reports will be too. Check important figures before relying on them.

3.Accounts and access

  • The Service is invite-only. Accounts are created by our team after an access request, or by an account owner inviting team members within their plan's user limit.
  • You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your password confidential and tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • The account owner controls the business account, decides who on the team has access and with which role, and is responsible for everything done through the account.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Import or connect data you have no right to use, or data the Service doesn't need (such as national ID numbers or payment card details).
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, including breaching privacy, consumer protection or tax laws.
  • Try to access other customers' data, probe or break our security, or interfere with the Service.
  • Copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, or scrape it or its API beyond your plan's limits.
  • Share login details or let people outside your business use your account, except through team invites.
  • Use WhatsApp or email features to send spam or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.

5.Plans, fees and payment

  • Plans and limits (features, users, stores, orders and AI usage) are described on our pricing page or in your order confirmation. Prices are shown in Egyptian pounds (EGP) and do not currently include VAT; if VAT becomes applicable, we will tell you before it is charged.
  • Payment is made in advance by InstaPay or bank transfer, using the payment reference we give you. We do not use a card payment gateway. A subscription period is active once we have recorded your payment.
  • Renewal: we send reminders before your period ends. Plans renew only when you pay for the next period; there are no automatic charges.
  • Late payment: if a period ends unpaid, you have a 7-day grace period with full access. After that the account becomes read-only: you can still view and export your data, but syncs, alerts and AI features are paused until payment is recorded.
  • Changing plans: you can upgrade or downgrade by changing your plan; there are no separate add-ons. Order limits are soft: if you go over, we will warn you and may ask you to upgrade, but we won't delete your data.
  • Refunds: fees already paid are non-refundable, except where Egyptian law requires otherwise. You can stop renewing at any time.
  • Price changes apply from your next period, and we will tell you at least 30 days in advance.

6.Your data

You keep all rights to the data you import or connect ("Your Data"). You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display Your Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to share Your Data with us, including any personal data of your customers, for which you are the controller and we act as your processor. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics (which do not identify you or your customers) to improve the Service and, where your plan includes them, to show benchmarks. Benchmarks are anonymised aggregates, shown only when at least 5 businesses contribute to them, so no individual business can be identified.

7.Third-party integrations

The Service can connect to tools such as Shopify, Bosta, Meta Ads, Google Sheets and WhatsApp. When you connect one, you authorise us to access it with the read-only permissions shown. Those services are run by third parties under their own terms; we are not responsible for their availability, data accuracy, API changes or charges. You can disconnect an integration at any time, and you can also revoke our access from the third-party service.

8.AI features

Some plans include AI features, such as written insights and an assistant that answers questions about your numbers. These are generated by third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) from your business data, without raw customer phone numbers.

AI output can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong. Always review it, and check the underlying figures before you act on it. You remain responsible for the decisions you make. AI usage is subject to your plan's monthly limits and fair-use caps.

9.Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that syncs will always be up to date. We may change, add or remove features; if we remove a significant paid feature, we will give you notice and, where fair, a pro-rata adjustment.

To the extent permitted by Egyptian law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

10.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Egyptian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales, business decisions taken based on reports or AI output, or losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete data from you or third-party services.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence.

11.Cancellation, termination and data export

  • You can cancel at any time by telling us or not renewing. Your access continues until the end of the paid period, then follows the grace and read-only steps above.
  • Export: you can export your reports and data at any time, including after cancellation while the account is read-only. After you ask us to close the account, we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it, then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or close an account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if your use puts the Service or other customers at risk, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

12.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. We will first try to resolve any dispute amicably by contacting each other. If that fails within 30 days, the dispute will be settled by the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.

If these Terms are available in both Arabic and English and there is a conflict between them, the Arabic version prevails.

13.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel and export your data.

14.General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account without our consent; we may transfer these Terms as part of a merger or sale of the business.
